User terms

1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and i7V Renewables Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under number SC662340, at Blackwood House, Union Grove Lane, Aberdeen, Scotland, AB10 6XU (“Realest”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you use Realest free of charge after being invited by an agent, property manager or landlord (we call them “the business”).
Our privacy policy explains how we use your personal data: realest.pro/privacy/.
You must be 18 or over to use Realest.
2. What Realest does for you
Realest helps the business that invited you keep you informed about a property. Depending on how they use it, you may be able to:
- see upcoming appointments and viewings at the property
- see the business’s contact details
- share your availability for viewings or visits
Your access depends on the business. They approve your link to the property and can remove it at any time. They decide what information is recorded and shared about the property and about you. For questions about that information, please contact them first.
If you are a landlord linked to a property, you may also see the business’s notes on appointments at that property.
3. Your account
Give us accurate information and keep your login secure. Do not share your login. Tell us at support@realest.pro if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Using Realest fairly
You must not:
- use Realest unlawfully, or to harass or harm anyone
- share information you see in Realest for any purpose other than the property you were invited about
- try to access information you were not given access to, or interfere with Realest
- copy, scrape or reverse engineer Realest, except where the law allows it
5. Our service
Realest is free for you. We use reasonable efforts to keep it available and working well, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve it at any time.
Realest belongs to us. We give you permission to use it for the purpose described in section 2.
6. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. You keep all your rights under consumer law.
We are not responsible for the information the business records or shares, or for what they do with it.
7. Ending your use of Realest
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, or at realest.pro/request-deletion. It is deactivated straight away. For 30 days you can ask us to restore it at privacy@realest.pro. After that it is permanently deleted.
We may suspend or close your account straight away if you break these terms in a serious way, if your account poses a security risk, or if the law requires it. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us.
Your access to a property also ends if the business removes your link to it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
9. General
These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you live in the UK outside Scotland, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. If you live in the EU or South Africa, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live.
We may transfer this agreement to another company in our group, and we will tell you if we do.
If you downloaded Realest from the Apple App Store, the Apple terms in section 13 of our Terms of Service also apply to you: realest.pro/terms/. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms apply to your download.
